Have public meetings and hearings on-line for free, in real time, so that people can see the proceedings as they are happening, not on Olelo a week or two later.

This is a great idea. City council meetings are already live cast. What other meetings are viewable in real-time?
I would like to add that we need to know what meetings are open to the public. There are many boards, task forces and commissions, and I recently found out that at least one doesn't even keep minutes. A list of all of these committees should be posted in one location that is easily accessible to the public.
